ABOUT SLM

Engineered to Keep the Heat Where It Belongs

SLM designs and manufactures high-strength nano insulation boards for steel ladles, tundishes, kilns, furnaces, and industrial boilers. Rated for continuous service from 1000 °C to 1200 °C, our boards cut heat loss and lower shell temperature without giving up compressive strength.

SLM was born on the shop floor, where old back-up linings stayed heavy, leaky, and hard to fit — yet heat still found the shell. We built a nanoporous board with aerogel-class insulation and the strength of a rigid panel, made to spec in Nantong and shipped to mills worldwide.

WHY TEAMS CHOOSE SLM

What Sets SLM Apart

Three things every customer gets from each board — and every export order.

01

Nanoporous, not just thin

A fumed-silica nanoporous core delivers ultra-low conductivity at minimal thickness, so linings shed heat without adding bulk.

02

Precision-formed & export-ready

Cut-ready edges, controlled density, and batch-verified specs — packed seaworthy for dependable delivery anywhere.

03

Real application engineering

We spec the right grade, thickness, and layout for your ladle, tundish, kiln, or furnace, with clear communication and reliable lead times.

Talented people, shared goals

MZ

Master Zhao

Chief Consulting Advisor

With over 26 years in high-temperature materials and refractory engineering, Master Zhao guides SLM's nano insulation formulations and application systems. He ensures every board meets the thermal and mechanical specs our customers run in steel ladles, tundishes, kilns, and furnaces.

LQ

Liu Qiang

Lead Quality Control Specialist

Liu Qiang brings 20 years of material testing and process-control experience with a zero-tolerance approach to deviations. He personally supervises density checks, dimensional inspection, and batch verification, so every SLM board ships to a documented, repeatable standard.

JY

Jason Yang

International Project Director

Jason Yang has 16 years in global industrial export supply chains. He turns complex client requirements into precise production and shipping plans — coordinating specs, seaworthy packing, and lead times so overseas orders arrive on schedule with clear communication throughout.
