SLM-1200 High-Strength Nano Insulation Board is the higher-temperature grade from Nantong Suleiman Refractory Co., Ltd., rated for continuous service up to 1200 °C. It is the go-to choice for ladle roofs, tundish covers, hot-face backup in forging / annealing furnaces, and cement & lime kiln preheater towers where SLM-1000 starts to creep.
Why SLM-1200
- Same nano-microporous core as SLM-1000, opacified for higher radiative resistance — flat thermal conductivity from 200 °C to 1200 °C.
- Lower shrinkage (≤ 1.5 % at 1200 °C × 24 h) and higher cold-crushing strength (≥ 0.8 MPa) — survives anchor welding and rough handling on ladle roofs.
- Drop-in replacement for 1260 °C ceramic-fiber board, without airborne-fiber and bio-persistence concerns.
- Vacuum foil pack — each pallet ≤ 1.2 m³, easy 20′/40′ container loading.
